Does Leo include books?

No, Leo is a reader, not a store. You import your own EPUB and PDF files and Leo turns them into a speed-reading experience.

Does it work with Kindle books?

Kindle uses a closed format, so not directly. DRM-free EPUB and PDF files work perfectly.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, for now. That focus lets us make the reader feel truly native.

Will I understand what I read at higher speeds?

Studies show comprehension holds at moderate RSVP speeds and drops at extreme ones. Leo gives you full control of the pace, plus punctuation pauses, so you find your own sweet spot.

Which languages does the app support?

The interface is in English, Spanish and French, and you can read books in any language.

How much will it cost?

To be announced. The waitlist will be the first to know, and the first to try it.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Leo - RSVP Reader website, its content and waitlist. Use is also subject to the Legal Notice. How we process your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Waitlist

Joining lets you receive a sign-up confirmation, Leo - RSVP Reader launch notices and updates directly related to its availability and development. It does not guarantee a date, access or specific terms, and we may change or cancel the waitlist. You may unsubscribe at any time.

By ticking the checkbox, you consent to the use of your email for these communications. We will not send third-party advertising or disclose your email for that purpose.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the website lawfully, not damage, overload or disrupt it, and not submit another person's data without permission.

4. Intellectual property

Content is protected as described in the Legal Notice. You may link to pages and quote reasonable extracts with attribution, but may not substantially reuse the website, design, text or original elements without permission.

5. Comparative and informational content

Comparisons and articles are prepared for information using public sources and our editorial criteria. Third-party services may change. To report an error or request a correction, email adrianromero@ireadwithleo.com.

6. Warranties and liability

The website is provided as currently available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from use, inability to access it or decisions based solely on its content. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.

7. The Leo - RSVP Reader app

What it is. Once available, Leo - RSVP Reader will be a speed-reading (RSVP) app for reading your own EPUB and PDF books, imported from your device or from catalogues or libraries compatible with OPDS (Open Publication Distribution System), with reading statistics such as words, minutes, speed and streaks. Books, their covers and your reading position will be processed and stored only on your device; data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

Profile and statistics. Your name, email, optional profile photo and reading statistics may be stored in our database to maintain your account and display your progress on devices where you sign in. This does not synchronise or upload your books, covers or reading position.

Your books and acceptable use. You must only import and use content you have the rights to or that the law allows. You are responsible for the books you import and the libraries you connect; we claim no rights over them. You agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes or to infringe third-party rights.

Improvement proposals. You may submit ideas through the dedicated feature. We do not guarantee implementation or undertake to respond. You retain any rights you may have in your proposal and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to analyse it, combine it with similar ideas and use or adapt it to evaluate, develop and improve Leo - RSVP Reader. Do not submit confidential information or third-party content you are not entitled to share.

Subscriptions and payments. If the app offers paid features or subscriptions, they are purchased through the store (App Store): Apple handles payment and payment details, and RevenueCat manages subscription status. Renewal and cancellation are done from your store account, under its terms.

No guaranteed results. Reading speed and comprehension vary from person to person; Leo - RSVP Reader is a practice tool and does not guarantee a specific result or constitute medical advice.

Store terms. The app will be governed by these terms, any specific published conditions and the terms of its download store, including Apple's applicable licence agreement (EULA). Until launch, features, dates, prices and availability are indicative and may change.

8. Changes

We may update these terms due to changes in the website, app or law. The current version will be published here. Material changes affecting existing services will be communicated with reasonable notice where applicable.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to mandatory rules and consumer rights in your country of residence.
